Marcia Davis

Partner Marcia Davis devotes her practice to civil litigation, products liability, commercial litigation, and equine mortality cases. She is a certified circuit civil mediator. Ms. Davis is Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer certified by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. She is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and was recently recognized as a 2010 Florida Super Lawyer.

Ms. Davis received her Bachelor of Science degree from Troy State University in 1980 and her Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law in 1983. She is a member of the Florida Bar and the American Board of Trial Advocates. She is admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in Florida. She serves the Eighth Judicial Circuit as a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission.

Ms. Davis served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate Generals Corp from 1983-1986 and was a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1986-1987. She was a partner in the Barron Redding firm in Panama City, Florida until 1997 when she moved to north Florida.

Currently, she serves as president of the International Paso Horse Federation, chairs the Paso Fino Horse Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping Paso youth riders go to college, and on the board of directors of the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation.

Marcia is passionate about taking care of her clients, riding her Paso Fino horses, and helping children through her many volunteer activities.
